Ministries Overview

Son Life Chapel has a variety of on going and expanding ministries that seek to enrich, develop and promote Spiritual growth in our body of believers. "For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ."

1 Corinthians 12:12

Children’s Ministry

GROWING IN THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD

Sunday School is every Sunday immediately following morning worship.

We are committed to helping your children grow to better understand Jesus and His love for them. We do this by creating an atmosphere of Christian love and acceptance, by providing opportunities to accept Christ as their Savior, and by helping them grow in their relationship with Jesus.

STUDENT YOUTH Ministry

Son Life Chapel provides opportunities for youth to grow in their love relationship and knowledge of the Lord. Our desire is that this generation of young people will lead others to Christ by their unrelenting love, faith and obedience to God. We pray that young people in our city would be filled with the Holy Spirit and walk in the power and authority that God has given them to be mighty warriors for Christ! Joel 2:28 “And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions.”

Men's Ministry

CHRIST CENTERED DISCIPLESHIP - RELATIONSHIP BUILDING

Son Life's Men's Ministry is dedicated to encouraging men to become all that God has created them to be by applying Biblical principals to their lives through Bible Studies. This small group setting provides us with an opportunity to interact and help one another grow in our relationship with the Lord and each other.

Men Taking Their Authority Through Prayer

All men are invited to a once a month prayer meeting. We will gather in one accord to pray for our families, our ministries, our community, our nation, our world, and each other. God is calling men to take their place of authority in prayer. Men have been called by God with specific authority in their family and community. As men it is our responsibility to take charge and to be watchmen on the wall of our city and homes. Watchmen cannot be silent but speak all day and all night putting the Lord in remembrance, taking no rest.

Isaiah 62:6-7 (ESV)

6 On your walls, O Jerusalem, I have set watchmen; all the day and all the night they shall never be silent. You who put the Lord in remembrance, take no rest, 7 and give him no rest until He establishes Jerusalem and makes it a praise in the earth.

It is the watchmen that warn, alert, and give a call to arms. We as the men of Son Life feel a need to take our place of authority in prayer and on our knees crying out for those that are asleep to wake up and rise against the clear and present threat at our door. We can’t be silent, we can’t love sleeping in, we have to be ready and prepared for war. Men joining together in unity to pray will shake this nation. Will we answer the call? Meetings are held in the PS Building, at 7pm Building.
